i cant believe your chis 20lbs, we got heff our 3rd chi when he was 14 weeks old because he was so small since the day we got him home he hasn't stopped growing, hes know are biggest dog but will only weigh about 6lbs but hes solid :D
archy the tiny cow will only be about 2lbs but hes only 4 months old so we will have to see if he gets bigger.all our dogs are KC archy has crufts finalists in hes pedigree, we are gowing to breed archy a long haired with mona smoth coat but we have ben told that we willl only get smooth coats do you know if thats right?
i wil have to send you some photos of our dogs.

That is very interesting. You will have to let me know how you make out with that new litter. It will be interesting to see if Ruben's brother produces large puppies as well. Do you only breed short coats? The breeder where I got Rocky and my son's dog, Chi-Chi, actually breeds both. My Rocky has a short-coat sire and a long-coat mommy. He has a short coat, but it is very shiny and soft--I like it.

I would love nothing more than to be able to spend all day with my dogs. I am a school teacher, so the dogs are spoiled during the summer, but alone a lot during the school year. It's always so hard for me to go back to work in the fall. The dogs have each other for company, but it's not the same. I'm glad to hear that you have chihuahuas as large as 20 pounds. My Rocky has grown and grown and he now weighs 20 pounds. I have had several people tell me that he "cannot be a full bred chihuahua" because of his size, but I got him from a local breeder. I saw both parents, and they are quite small. Actually, Rocky is champion-sired by a very small chihuahua. I really like his size. He is sturdy and very cuddly! Funny thing about him is that he actually thinks he weighs 5 pounds. He hops up into my lap and about knocks me over :-)

Hi Pam: I wish I could have 8 chi's. I have three (and two older yorkies). I have owned several breeds of dogs over the years--poodles, cocker spaniels, maltese, yorkies, and chihuahuas. Hands down, the chi's are my favorite dogs. Their personalities are so dear.

Hi Pam.

How are you?, thanks for checking out my posts. I have not been on the site for a while, trying to dedicate my time to fighting these morons here in Maryland about the fatal attack on my dog. I have yet to receive an apology or even an acknowledgment of what happened from the attack dog's owner.

Hi Pam - very nice to meet you - with 8 Chis you must have a lot of experiece with the little guys - I would imagine that you don't have the problem with your team as I have with Sophie..... any suggestions are most welcome! We live in SC where fall is approaching fast - the hummers will probably soon take their leave - which always make me feel sad then the feeders hang empty! Have a great sunday.
