At 2:34am on November 29, 2008, John,Sandy and Allison Plesha said…: Hi Lizzie, Thank you for your post.Every time I think that time will make things easier to get by with such a noticable part of my life missing now-my year and a half old long-haired chi Teddy starts looking for his old Uncle Pepe and to see him actually look at me with real tears in his eyes kind of gets to me all over again.I'm thinking of adopting one from the local shelter as a companion for my little buddy.I don't think of it as a replacement or being morbid since they are unique and irreplaceable with each one having a distinct personality.and I've learned that they kinda choose their human pets rather than the other way around. I hope I can get my computer straightened out and post pics of all our babies.Your little one is lucky to have you in it's life, Thank you again for your kind words,I feel bad now for posting anything while mourning Pepe's loss. I wouldn't want anyone to have to think about how they might feel with the loss of their own and two days earlier we were taking pictures of them with little X-mas hats and reindeer antlers to use for X-mas cards.I never expected that he wouldn't have been here waiting for the turkey to come out of the oven but he was old and had a happy life and he died peacefully in his sleep.At least now he's in a better place with Benny,Tito,Nibbles and all the other canine buddies I've had in my lifetime.With a little luck and living life right-I hope I go to the same place they are when my time comes to "cross the river".Sorry I'm so long-winded.I am grateful that there's nice people like you to converse with though.Both your dogs are beautiful and Angel is adorable.best Wishes and Happy Holidays to you and your family.
