poopin in the room help

My dog wolf is house trained nearly a year but recently he has decided he will pee outside and come back in the house and poo upstairs in the bedroom i dont know why he gets in trouble and put out when he does it and he knows he did wrong because he runs off and hides and does his sorry face we moved house about 6 weeks ago could this be connected? but there was no other dog here before us and dont they usually pee to mark there territory its causing trouble between me and my partner because he wants wolf left downstairs but i dont as im home alone a lot and like his company... any suggestions why hes doing this or how i can stop this???????

Lauren - I can only suggest that if your Wolf was used to doing both businesses outside, and now he "splits it up" hehe.....maybe you need to keep him contained downstairs after he has peed - where he can be watched, or placed inn his crate for a while longer - then bring him outside again and if he then poos, THEN he gets rewarded by coming upstairs again..... My Sophie has a habit like that too - the re-habilitation is progressing in only 1/2 millimeter at a time - not even steps! what to do!!! hehe....

Thanks for your advice i will surely try it. There some lil terrors wen they want to be but i would be lost with out him

this morning it is pouring down here in SC. Sophie HATES the wet - hehe - but she behaved and peed outside when I took her out - wearing her little raincoat :-)...... then she had her breakfast and promptly after that delivered a very nice poo = IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PEE-PAD in the washroom !!!!!!!!!! can hardly believe my luck this morning!

The door immediately went open to the rest of the house, and she scuttled back to the bedroom and hunkered down WAAAAY down under the duvet! hehe... Life is sweet! :-) until next time........................ that was another millimeter of progress!
