Anal Fishy odor

MY chihuahua has a fishy odor comming from her bum bum. What is it from or what could be causing it.

Hi there,
Have you had your Chi checked for anal glands that needs to be cleaned out. If you are not able to do this yourself, your need to ask your vet to check the glands and excrete them.
If your chi also scrabes along the floor at times, as if there is a problem of worms, it could simply be be cause of "aggrivated" anal glands.

Take her to the vet her anal glands are impacted and possibly infected. 2 of my chi's get this and it's nasty:( If it goes on too long they get an abcess, (hole), in the glands and it can make them really sick.
